Run The World by Victor Sandifer is a community empowerment brand that was founded in 2013 in Oakland, California by Victor Sandifer and Demont Oliver, both Oakland natives. The brand logo features an interpretation of an Adinkra symbol called Sankofa. The symbol used by Run The World incorporates a globe within its design, representing the brand's motto and idea of "Look Back, Give Back to the World." The essence of Running The World, according to the brand, is reflected in looking back at one's roots and giving back to the community using personal passions and talents.
